Executive Cost Controller

Initial job requirements: to be responsible for cost controlling, analysis and its presentation to the management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares independently ad-hoc and regular cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, analysis and ensures that they are prepared, analyzed, commented and presented to managers.
• Provides financial analysis, interpretation of variances from budgets, forecasts and standards, and advice to management on a regular basis.
• Provides input to the development of long-range financial forecasts and related budgets, considering alternative scenarios and economic prospects as appropriate.
• Submits findings and interpretations for review.
• Provides guidelines for standard cost approaches used in business decisions; establishes and monitors cost reduction programs.
• Contributes to the policy development in the area of cost controlling.
• Conducts analyses (also uncalled for) and provides recommendations for improvement both the efficiency and efficacy of the plant operations.

Skill set:

• 5+ years experience in controlling or audit
• Very good knowledge of excel
• Knowledge of Cognos an advantage
• Fluent English with Czech an advantage
• Flexible and able to work and deliver to deadlines
• Good analytical skills, ability to work independently
